Kim at Savvy Southern Style is giving away a copy of The Great Color & Pattern Collection signed by the author, Betsy Speert, to promote Betsy's new Blog. But don't go enter....because I want to win it :).
Seriously though, I am very excited about a Tuesday feature on Betsy's blog. She answers design questions submitted by other blogs. I will be posting lots of questions on this blog!
Here is one:
I think my dining room could really be improved by changing the fabric on the chairs. However, I have no idea what to pick. The room is not used very much (Christmas, Thanksgiving, other large family dinners...) but it is seen when someone walks in the front door. I am including lots of pictures to show what I am working with. Any and all suggestions welcome! I think I am pretty tied to the paint color since we have that dark trim all over the house, but if you have ideas....please tell.
This is a yard of fabric that I purchased to try. I like it, but I am not sure.
A few other ideas from Ballard Designs:
Small Check Toffee
Scandicci Gray
Tuscan Vine
Also, don't forget to check my giveaway here.
Thanks in advance,
Eilis
I like the gray damask looking pattern, modern and popular right now, yet traditional too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Abbey :)
ReplyDeleteI love the sandicci grey pattern. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the paisley (the first one you have on your chairs) hehe
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by at The DIY Dreamer :)
It would be too easy if everyone picked the same one :). Please keep the feedback coming.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and your nice comments and good luck on choosing, just go with what you like best, you won't go wrong.
