Our house is sold! (I like to think that the staging I did over the last couple of weeks did it.) Of course it is bitter sweet to move (and the next three weeks will be crazy), but now I can start to focus on our new home.
We moved my husband and a little furniture into it on Monday (because he has already been transferred). It's funny how things work out. We thought it would be better to keep our house furnished for showings, but we ended up getting an offer over the weekend and my husband won't have to "camp" there for long.
A few weeks ago I ordered a vanity stool for the master bathroom from Joss & Main. I guess this is my first furniture purchase for our new home. It is called Alsatia Stool when it is available on their website. It arrived in a fairly flat box and I assembled it in minutes. The top is linen and I love how it looks in the space. I plan to keep checking out their sales, and I am delighted to become a Joss & Main affiliate.
