Years (and years) ago, back when shopping online was a new phenomenon, I remember watching a t.v. show (maybe Oprah) where people were challenged to buy things they needed without leaving their homes. I have felt a little like one of the people on that show over the last few weeks. (If you are new here, we moved house about a month ago.) As much as I love to shop at brick and mortar stores, some things are just easier to find and order on the internet. (And you can shop while waiting for someone who is coming to fix something in the house....) I found a rug for my dining room via Joss & Main and was able to order it in exactly the size I needed. Shipping was FREE since with Joss & Main you only pay shipping one time in 30 days and I had recently ordered something else from the site. That was quite a deal considering the rug weighed over 100 lbs. I have an affiliate relationship with Joss & Main, but I purchased this rug myself and was not compensated in any way for this post.
I have to say that I was a little nervous that the color would be the same on the actual rug as it appeared on the computer screen. It was important since I wanted it to match the existing drapes.
So my big package arrived yesterday and our dining room went from this:
And the color works well with the drapes that came with the house:
Have I mentioned that I am delighted with my purchase?!
Have a wonderful weekend.
