I loved a suggestion from Linsey (The Farmhouse Porch). She thought some more touches of white (such as replacing the pillow) would tie the room together. I searched for a white throw pillow, but didn't have much luck with the stores being full of fall decor. Then, I remembered a tea towel that I had purchased forever ago intending to make it into a pillow cover. I had even pinned the idea (to remind myself to do it). So I finally did it...
And...I bought this little ironstone tureen in Canton.
I'm still trying to find something "just right" for the middle of the round glass table. Leaving it empty isn't an option since it has a hole for an umbrella.
Hope you're having a great week.

ReplyDeleteMy mother in law always loved white dishes in her dish cupboard. When I saw yours, which I think are the same pattern she had, it brought back a flood of memories.
ReplyDeleteI love your hutch with the ironstone! It is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is awe-inspiring. I have found many new things. Your way of staging is also fascinating. You have elected very incredible topic. I appreciated it.
ReplyDeleteI think you have a very unique, quirky design aesthetic that works well for this sun room. It looks very lovely! That bistro sign sure is nice and goes well with the room. I also like the white plates on that cabinet and that tureen sure is a nice addition.
