My New Favorite Chair
Do you believe in Karma?
A few days ago, I found myself in a different part of town because I helped a friend get her car fixed. It didn't take as long as I expected, and there was a thrift store right across the street. Might as well take a look, right?
So...there it was...my $7.98 dream chair:
All it needed was some pure white Annie Sloane Chalk Paint, clear wax, dark wax,and a new toile seat cover. This was actually the first time I had ever recovered a chair seat. Luckily, it was very easy.
So, here's my new favorite chair in the sitting area of our master bedroom.
Now it wants a french table to go with it...
I think I'll be wearing a path to that thrift store from now on....
