Welcome to day 3 of Burlap Christmas Week at My Heart Lives Here...
I recently purchased a very inexpensive 52 inch jute burlap Christmas tree skirt.
It was looking for a quick touch with an iron and something else....
I priced five yards of trim at my local fabric store. I could not believe the ones I was looking at were around 9 dollars a yard. There were some more affordable ones, but the remaining pieces were too short. Fortunately, I stopped by Hobby Lobby before giving up on the idea.
I purchased this fringe at HL for 2.09 per yard (on sale).
I used my sewing machine to attach the fringe all around the tree skirt. I have minimal sewing skills, however this was extremely EASY. I think it took me longer to arrange the fringe for this photo than it took to sew it on....
One more thing ready for Christmas decorating!!!
Hugs,
Eilis
