There's nothing like the first freeze to put me in the mood for the holidays. After moving in or covering all the potted plants yesterday, I thought I'd play with my place setting for Thanksgiving.
I have a little secret to share... I have always just used those paper napkins with turkeys or cornucopias on them. Since I painted some chargers a few months ago, I decided it was time for some festive cloth napkins and napkin rings. These are from Bed, Bath & Beyond. The dishes are Mikasa Antique White.
I also started to look inside moving boxes labeled "Christmas decor." In one of them, I came across the fall wreath I used on my last front door. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to use things I have on hand in new ways. So, I hung the fall wreath on the wine closet door.
And last but not least, I enjoyed the first fire in the fireplace since we moved here.
Hope you're enjoying fall where you are!
