Welcome! I hope you enjoy.
The gingerbread man (above) was a Christmas tree ornament. I cut off the string and hot glued it to the bottom of a glass jar from Walmart. Then I added sugar and a bow.
This is a rosemary topiary. The flash is making the electric cord show much more than it really does.
The gingerbread measuring spoons and spoon rest are from Pier 1.
I'm hoping that between having the cuttings in water and misting them with a sprayer, they will last until Christmas....
After the greenery, I added red picks from Hobby Lobby, and cookie cutters and candy canes (with floral wire.)
These gingerbread men "cookies" are from Kirklands.
Anyone else hungry?

I'm planning to have a gingerbread kitchen too! At least I had a quick glance on how my kitchen will look like after redecorating. Hehe! Anyway, I think I still have to rush on the kitchen renovation before thinking of the designs, right? Well, do you think it's nice to place the little drummer boy too? Advance Merry Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Ellis, did a little blog-hopping and found your blog :) Oh, I love and adore gingerbread men!! Your kitchen is so sweet. I LOVE your little vignette with the mesuring spoons. I'm a huge fan of gingerbread houses and candy canes too, lol. Everything looks gorgeous and the ornament in the glas jar is such a cute idea.
ReplyDeleteWish you a lovely Sunday, Jannet
I love gingerbread. I have so wanted to do this in my kitchen. Maybe one day! Very pretty. I love the light fixture.
