I decided on a day bed with a trundle to give the most flexibility when family and friends stay with us.
I was delighted to find this dust ruffle (and a matching one for when the trundle bed is also in use) at Joss & Main. I also purchased three Euro sham covers at the same time. The quilt (again I purchased two) and most of the toss pillows are from HomeGoods.
I'm sure the buttons are supposed to be turned to the back, but I couldn't resist letting a few show...
This chair was about $170 at Joss & Main (affiliate link). The little chest was on clearance at Kirkland's for $199.
I am keeping the furnishings light to leave plenty of room for the trundle bed when it is set up.
And here's the attached bathroom.
I already had the little Monet and the floral arrangement. The towels and ceramic pieces are from HomeGoods. I wish I could show you more of it, but I'm afraid the other walls are not very photogenic...
I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions.

ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a pretty room! When you enlarge the pictures you can really see how pretty that bedding is. The pillows are wonderful. The wall treatment is really pretty in both rooms.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!
I love the idea of the daybed. I really think that's what I need in my guest bedroom. The little corner is just so sweet and love the chair and chest. Great job of pulling small space together. Gives me some ideas. Thanks.
