My husband, who is infamous for not noticing any decor changes, was extremely excited about the photo above. It is of the Ferrari factory in 1960 and came from the Alinari archives. Thank you, HomeGoods! The frame had a small ding, but a touch with a black Sharpie marker took care of that.
Once I was happy with the rest of the room, I suddenly noticed how terrible the light switch cover and matching outlet cover looked. I'm not sure how they came to be painted a different shade of brown with lumpy paint.... and the scratched off paint didn't meet my definition of "shabby."
So, this weekend, I finally replaced both plates with ones that match the other hardware in this room.
I don't know why it took me so long to do something so easy.....
But I'm glad I finally did!

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Martina.
DeleteThat's stunning, and I love the mirror! Btw, I think that's Modern Masters Venetian Plaster you have on the wall...it kind of looks like the color "Suede". It's beautiful, and yes it is pricey:)
ReplyDeleteCindy, thank you for the kind words and especially for filling me on the Venetian Plaster!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous powder room! I love the artwork you put with the dark walls. They always say a powder room should be striking or dramatic and yours is. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stacey!
