Bench for the Living Room

Joss & Main came through for me again today.

I was pretty excited when I saw the big box waiting to be opened when I got home from work!

I've been wishing for an upholstered bench to put in front of the fireplace in our living room.

It had to have curvy legs.

It had to be narrow enough to fit between the seagrass rug and the base of the mantel.

It had to be affordable.

The Taren Upholstered Bench met all my requirements.

It adds both extra seating and the wonderful French style to the room.

I may change the fabric.  I think a toile would be beautiful.
The entire seat pad just pops out, so recovering would be easy.

Assembly only took a couple of minutes.  The legs needed to be attached with 4 screws.
Even I could do that!

  3. Love it!! Love the idea of the toile.

  4. Thanks, Cheryl! I hope to find some fabric this weekend.

  5. Your bench looks just perfect there. I'm looking for one for our bedroom and have studied a few on J&M. I've worried about the color - it's hard to tell exactly what color they are. I think the color of yours is really pretty and of course, toile is always wonderful. Your room is beautiful.

  6. Hi Stacey! Yes, I always worry about the color when I order online. I figured I could paint this easily if I didn't like it.

  7. Thank you for a great explanation. I was looking online for a similar idea and really appreciate it
