Spooner Lamp

I'm seriously considering changing the name of this blog to "Confessions of an Estate Sale Junkie."  I recently opened a booth at a local antique mall.  This gives me a reason an excuse to spend lots of time at estate sales.  Let's just say that I LOVE what I do.  And I also find lots of things that I love too much to sell in the booth.

Here's today's amazing find:





According to the tag (which was still attached) this lamp was made from a vintage "spooner" (sugar bowl).  How charming is it?!  I also found the two books at the same estate sale.  They are very appropriate for this Irish girl's desk. (Eilis is an Irish or Gaelic name pronounced I-leesh).




And yes... I also found lots of great treasures for the booth.  I'm off to tag them now...
