March Mantel

The new lighter paint in the family room has made it much easier to decorate our mantel.  I had so much fun creating the Valentine mantel, that I couldn't wait to do another one.


The wreath is a recent purchase from HomeGoods.  (I looked for one inside the store, was leaving empty handed, and then saw this one in an Easter display on my way out.) 

Everything else was found around my house. The fairy came in from outside.









I plan to leave it this way through St. Patrick's day.

    I love everything about your mantel. The old windows make the perfect backdrop to not only add interest but they also enhance the display. Very nice!

    Girl you are on a roll! I love that you brought the fairy inside so she could sit in that special spot with the antique windows. It's fun that you're so inspired because of the paint color. I can understand that.

    Eilis, I love your mantel. Just use an old window and I'm in love. You did a great job styling it. Love that wreath too. I need you to help me with my mantle-except there's a big flat screen tv on it. Darn! Have a great weekend!

    Great display, Eilis! I definitely agree on the color of the room too. Right now I currently have a yellow/golden type of color in our home and I am soooooo ready to repaint. That's going to be one of the the first things I do when I go back home:)
