I'm crossing my fingers that these Knock Out Roses will be a good choice. I had them at my last house. I loved how easily they grew and how long they bloomed. Apparently, like other roses, they are prone to rose rosette disease. I will be keeping a close eye on them.
I shared this beautiful basket of flowers on Instagram last week. Couldn't resist including here, too.
Have a great week!
Heartfully,
Beautiful flowers. I'm keeping watch on my knockouts, too; I hope yours will be healthy. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michael Lee!
DeleteIsn't it nice to finally see the sun? Your garden is really coming together! I'm sure the knockout roses will perform well for you. They are usually a pretty sure thing.
ReplyDeleteI am totally enjoying the sun! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWe finally have sun and a breeze this morning too! I just know these roses will be beautiful in your yard and it looks like maybe your pool too?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Tuesday!
Jemma
Thank you!
DeleteIt's funny how just a bit of sun and we get the urge to make the garden a little more beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love your basket, so pretty.
Yup, I am definitely more productive on a sunny day.
DeleteEilis,
ReplyDeleteYour spring plants are looking great. I think you will have success with the knock-out roses. I see them growing in mall medians and business areas which means they are hardy! Your last photo of the mixed flowers is so pretty. I MUST do something about our entry way soon. You have inspired me.
Judith
Your flowers look beautiful! This is the perfect time of year to be "filling those holes". I love knock out roses and have mostly had good luck with them. However, I've also lost a few too. I think that's par for the course with any new plants though.
ReplyDeleteI bet your Knockouts will do fine. Mine are gorgeous but I do keep hearing about the rose disease. Apparently at the Arboretum they had to take a lot of rose bushes out. Scary!! Your mixed pot is gorgeous! Pinned.
ReplyDeleteAfter writing this post, I read a bunch more comments about the rose disease on Nextdoor. Pretty sure they (and my old roses) are doomed. I lost a couple last year, and didn't know why.
DeleteHi Eilis! Your flowers are so pretty. I'm so craving some green but we're still so dead over here! Thanks for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thank you, Shelia!
DeleteWhat glorious bits of color! You should link up this happy post at Thoughts of Home on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your thoughts about Waterford crystal. Have a wonderfully Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Thank you, Laura.
DeleteThey all look lovely, Ms. Eilis:) I can't believe your shopping for flowers already...lucky girl;) If you go to our garden centers, all I've seen is mulch! LOL! I guess that might have something to do with the fact that we had a lil' smidgen of snow about three days ago...so ready for the sun:)
