French Country Guest Bedroom

Now it seems silly that it took me so long to

take down the drapes and repaint this room.

Yesterday, I got in one of those moods.  I painted all day. (Sherwin-Williams Neutral Ground)

Should have done it sooner.

Here's the "before."

Actually, those pictures were the "in between."  You can read the post about where I ordered the daybed cover HERE.

The real "before" was this:

Sometimes I try too hard to work with things as they are.   At first, I attempted to decorate around the stenciled walls and heavy drapes that were in the house when we bought it.

No more.

My next plan is to frame pages from a botanical book for the wall behind the daybed.

Heartfully,

Eilis

    1. Hi Pat,
I looked and looked for a linen daybed cover. I finally contacted an etsy seller who had one for a twin bed and asked her to make me a daybed one. The last time I checked she was also offering the daybed version. I will add the link to the post.
Love your blog! We do have very similar taste :)
