Recently, I have become a Stitch Fix Influencer. This means that if you follow a link from this post or my website and become a Stitch Fix customer, I will receive compensation.
I have been a Stitch Fix customer for two years. I always enjoy receiving a box with five items of clothing or accessories chosen for me by a Stitch Fix Stylist. The $20 styling fee is applied to any item I chose to purchase from the box. If I buy all five items, I enjoy a 25% discount on the order. There is an envelope in the box for returning anything that I don't want to buy and there are no shipping charges. When I complete my online check out, I use the opportunity to tell my stylist what I did or did not like about the items chosen for me. This feedback helps my stylist get to know what I love. I also have a "clothes" board on Pinterest, so my stylist can see more of what I like.
I have received 18 fixes so far. I'm pretty picky. Often, I just choose to keep one of the items in the box. Over time, I have noticed that many of these pieces have become the "go-to" items in my closet.
One of the preparations I made before my ankle surgery was to buy some casual dresses. With a cast from my knee down, I won't be wearing any skinny jeans for the next two months. If you want to see what I am dealing with, you can read more HERE.
I let my Stitch Fix Stylist know about my different need for this month's box. Madalyn included this thoughtful note in the box.
I absolutely love and chose to buy three of the five dresses. They are all very comfortable and make me feel pretty.
Everly Isabella V-neck Dress $68.00
41Hawthorn Lucida Colorblock Knit Dress $68
41Hawthorn Renesme Geo Cube Jersey Faux Wrap Dress $78
The Stylist always includes photographs with ideas for each of the five items in the box.
When I first discovered Stitch Fix, I was a very busy kindergarten teacher. I scheduled a box once a month since I loved to wear new clothes to work, but had little time to shop.
I have changed the frequency of my boxes to every other month since my schedule is a little slower these days. I can adjust the schedule of my boxes or change my preferences any time I want to. My very favorite part is trying things on in the comfort of my own home. That means being able to see if the item works well with things I already have AND never standing in line waiting to return items.

ReplyDeleteI have heard of Stitch Fix but had never tried it. I love the idea of it and you certainly received some fabulous looks. I might have to give it a whirl!
PS Hope you are on the mend and feeling better!
Thank you, Lisa. The recovery is going better than I hoped. I can get around the house great on the knee scooter :) I'm still lying with my foot up most of the time to prevent swelling. Lots and lots of t.v.
