Sometimes I get obsessed with a song,
just ask my family.
These days that song is Tim McGraw's Humble and Kind (written by Lori McKenna).
Wouldn't it be amazing if everyone lived by the lyrics?!
Hold the door, say "please", say "thank you"
Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie
The link will bring you to the You Tube version.
So when I found this pallet sign at ToEachHisOwn Designs on Etsy,
I knew it needed to be in our home.
I am anxiously awaiting its arrival on my doorstep and will share photos of it on the mantel soon. Can't you just see it surrounded by flowers in glass bottles for the end of summer,
and then pumpkins for fall?
Yes, I can shop for beautiful and inspiring things, even with a cast on my leg.
Three days until I trade this thing in for a removable boot, but who's counting?
I was so happy with my purchase that I asked Caitlyn, the shop's owner if she would like to offer my readers a discount. She did and here it is. The code MHLH10 is good for 10% off anything in her lovely shop from now through September 30th.
When those dreams you're dreamin' come to you
When the work you put in is realized
Let yourself feel the pride
But always stay humble and kind
I received no compensation for this post, just love her stuff.

DeleteBeautiful sentiment, Eilis! What a world this would be! I saw some great signs at Hob Lob this evening. I couldn't decide on ONE, so I left them all there! LOL!! Maybe, tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me, I can get overwhelmed by too many choices. Now if there is just one of something left....
DeleteThis was my first time to hear the song! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI will have to go back and check your posts about your leg! Wishing you a good recovery!
Thank you, Linda!

First off, yay to a removable boot soon! I know how glad I was to get of the clunky brace for my knee and trade it in for a sleeve. Secondly, that's an amazing sign. It's going to be perfect on your mantel! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cecilia
I'm so happy that you will be in a boot.
ReplyDeleteI get obsessed with different songs all the time. My favorite right now is "You Make Me Brave." by Bethel Music and Amanda Cook.
I love the sign. It is just so cute. I can't wait to see it with pumpkins.
I'm obsessed with that song too! I can't listen to it without crying because it's so sweet. Honestly, the world would be so much better if we lived that way everyday. ♥
