Something Else Gifts

I
If you happen to live near Boone, N.C.
I have some exciting news to share.
If like me, you don't live anywhere near N.C.,
when you see these pictures, you may want to plan a trip there.
Tracy,
a very talented and creative friend of mine,
moved there from Texas.
Now she has opened a new shop
called Something Else Gifts.

She shared some photos on Facebook today and I wanted to share them with you.
I always love a virtual shopping trip to a unique store, don't you?

Check out these stadium seats!
I kinda need this porch swing....

I found this description on the Facebook page:

Something Else is a venue for local North Carolina artists to display and sell their works! I'm presently working to bring several artists in to meet a soft open date of March 2017 and grand opening of April/May 2017. Inventory will turn over every 60-90 days and our ultimate goal is to only carry handmade items in the near future. This gift shop is a destination shop...boasting several trips to "See it all" by our customers. We will carry 'one of a kind' and 'hard to find' items with affordable price tags.
See something you like?
I sure do.  Lots of somethings.

  1. Really nice wares in your friend's shop, Eilis! Thanks for sharing. While I don't live in the area, it's definitely worth a side trip and stop when on the way to nearby destinations. Have a wonderful Easter weekend.

  2. Thanks for sharing this, Eilis. Rick's dad lives about 20 miles from Boone or so and we usually get there once a year. Not sure on this year yet but I'm definitely keeping this one in mind! She does a beautiful job with display and what a great inventory. Sounds like my kind of shop. I'll be sure to share this with Rick's step mom!
