It's Friday!

It's Friday and I'm enjoying the flowers I planted recently (while I'm weeding).  I've been pretty busy lately, but I sure love to see them when I drive in or out of our driveway.

For the last few weeks of school, I'm back to teaching preschool.  A school I usually volunteer at asked me to finish out the year when the teacher couldn't.  Out came Rainbow Fish, my sea shell collection, and the rest of my preschool ocean unit.  Love every minute, but I'm feeling the early mornings and the energy it takes to keep up with threes and fours.
The school is closed on Fridays, so I 'm catching up on things today.
In other news....
I returned to Weight Watchers in January and I am VERY happy to say that I am back to my goal weight.  I'm not being compensated in any way for this post, but I do have to say that I have been thrilled with the most recent version of Weight Watchers.  I track Smart Points for what I eat and how much I exercise on my phone.  Since I am back on "Maintenance," I get to keep using the etools for free as long as I weigh in once a month (and stay within two pounds of my goal).  Hoping this will keep me on track forever.
Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Woo hoo! Flowers and skinny mini jeans. Congratulations. :)

  2. Eilis,
Fridays are always more exciting when you are working. :) Running after threes and fours will help you keep your weight maintained. Little ones are such fun to be around.

  3. Congratulations on the weight! That's extremely exciting (and good for the budget, too!) So glad you are having a good (if busy) spring!)

  4. Congrats on the weight, beautiful flowers, and a HUGE thank you for being a preschool teacher! Preschool teachers are some of my fondest village members who helped shape my kids into the women they are today! ♥

  5. How nice to finish the year with preschooler, Eilis. Congratulations on reaching your WW goal. Way to go!!

  6. Just discovered your blog! I agree, the flowers we plant first, that we can see everyday (for me it's my front porch), make us the happiest!

I hear you on the joys of reaching goals. I love that you write about it. I dabble at that! lol! I'm doing Atkins once again...I've tried them all but low carbs and exercise always work for me if I'm all in.

Looking forward to reading more of your blog,

    Jane x
