First, check to make sure that all of the buttons on the control panel are working properly.
If any of them seem to be stuck or not responding correctly, you may need to replace the control panel. Next, take a look at the display on the control panel. If it’s blank or flickering, there could be an issue with thecontrol panel’s circuit board.
You may need to replace the entire control panel if this is the case. If your dishwasher is still not working after troubleshooting the control panel, please contact a Maytag customer service representative for further assistance.

How Do I Get My Dishwasher Out of Lock Mode?
If your dishwasher is stuck in lock mode, there are a few things you can try to get it out. First, make sure that the door is completely closed and that all the latches are engaged. If the door is not properly closed, the dishwasher will not be able to start.
Next, check the control panel to see if there is a button or switch that says “Lock” or “Child Lock.” If so, flip it to the off position. If you don’t see anything like that on the control panel, then look for a key icon.
This indicates that the dishwasher is locked with a key. To unlock it, insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot next to the key icon and turn it counterclockwise. If none of these methods work, then your dishwasher may have a faulty lock mechanism.
In this case, you’ll need to call a technician to come out and take a look at it.
